JOHN ROSE

John is a 5th generation resident of Clark County and graduated from Columbia River High School. John’s career in real estate began to take shape in 2001, when he started his journey in the Real Estate field as a residential appraiser. John has gone on to become a certified appraiser. In 2010, John jumped into the sales side of the business and obtained his broker license. Over the past decade, John has elevated his education and obtained his managing broker license, his state-level instructor certification, and acquired the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and ABR (Accredited Buyer’s Representative) designations from the National Association of Realtors (NAR). He is also a certified Military Relocation Professional (MRP) and holds a Luxury Home certification (LHC).

Before real estate, John served 6 years in the U.S. Air Force until returning home and began working in the fitness industry as a club manager and personal trainer.

Passionate about volunteer work, John enjoys giving back to his local community. He served as the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce President from 2018-2020 and Commander of the Ridgefield American Legion post 44 from 2019-2020. Past board service includes the Ridgefield City Planning Commission, Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce, Clark County Board of Equalization, and Ridgefield YMCA.

John has been married for 28 years and they have 3 children. In their off time they enjoy traveling to sunny and warm places, playing golf, hiking, kayaking, and relaxing by the sea.

I have been serving the Southwest Washington area for many years now and am proud to say that I have upheld these values when working with all my current and past clients on their personal transactions. Coming from a background in education, I specialize and enjoy working with first time home buyers by teaching and guiding them through their entire real estate process. I also have a strong skill set in working with land transactions and have developed quite a few business relationships with many of the various builders working in our area. I am extremely passionate about helping my clients unfold their own personal project of finding a piece of land that they love and then constructing the home of their dreams on it.

Lastly, I am very proud to have started my own networking group called PNW Referrals. The mission of PNW Referrals was to build a supportive and tight knit community of business owners with like-minded integrity and principles. I have now acquired a very strong base of contractors of all categories, commercial and residential lenders, escrow agents and many other businesses that I am able to allocate while administering a real estate transaction of my own. I guess you could say that I really do come with the backing of a very strong team to provide my clients with any specialized needs that they may have while closing a transaction with me.

When I first began my Real Estate Career over eight years ago, I asked myself an important question. What would I want in a real estate agent when buying or selling my own home? Jim started in the real estate business back in 1994 with Cramer Property Services. He then transitioned in 1999 to start his own home appraisal business, Columbia Appraisal Group, Inc. Jim also joined Keller Williams Realty in 2020 and recently became part of the Rose Realty Group in 2024, which he is proud to be a part of.

When not helping clients find their dream homes, Jim enjoys spending time outdoors, hitting the golf ball, or playing softball and baseball in various leagues. Whether exploring the local community or engaging in friendly competition, Jim embraces the vibrant lifestyle that SW Washington has to offer.
